Worlds first “Bio Mouse”

There seems to be a craze to save the planet lately, and a lot of us tech junkies are feeling some backlash for using plastics that were made in a factory setting. Well now there is a light at the end of the tunnel with Fujitsus new M44, which they are touting as the worlds first eco-friendly mouse. The creation of this mouse takes less carbon dioxide than its regular plastic counterpart. The other plus to this device is that…

Thsrs – The Twitter thesaurus

Doesnt it bother you when you realize that youve used that big word you love one too many times? The main problem being that you cant think of something comparable to replace your beloved fallback. This can sometimes make social networking services such as Twitter really frustrating, as you have limited space to post. Now there is a service called Thsrs that will help you to fit that 144-character message into the 140-character slot allotment. This is an online thesaurus…

Kraft and Intel build a Whats for Dinner kiosk

Its the age-old question. Whats for dinner? There are days where we just have no idea what we can make for dinner, and sometimes we cave and go out to eat. This can be really expensive over time. There is finally someone to help you decideor rather something to help you decide. Kraft and Intel have teamed up together to make a kiosk that will help you out with some dinner suggestions and a shopping list. It works by scanning…

Skizee lets you ski across a flat plain

When you think of skiing, you think of an epic mountain, and someone whizzing past markers at top speed making it look easy. Now you too can make it look like youre hardly trying! Seriously, with the Skizee you barely have to exert any effort at all. You may need some balance skills, but I cant see this as being something thats terribly hard. This gizmo has a little engine that will propel you on the snow when you have…

Rechargeable Heated Insoles keep your feet warm all winter

In the winter we have giant marshmallow-looking coats, gloves, scarves, and ear muffs to keep us warm. What do we do about out feet? Shoes and wooly socks don’t always do the trick. Thermo Shoes was looking out for us by making the Rechargeable Heated Insoles, which work the same way any insole would, but better. This is a good two-in-one if you ask me. You wont have to keep buying thick socks for the winter, and dont have to…

Chameleon X1 is a mouse/gamepad hybrid

If anyone were to ever ask me what my favorite activity would be, I would have to say multitasking. Things get done very quickly and theres more time to play video games and watch TV. If you like doing both of those things, and are a fan of the Internet, you will absolutely love this mouse. The Chameleon X1 is a presentation remote control, mouse, and video game controller. The gamepad thats built into the bottom has a 5 stage…

Listening Room – listen to music together in your private online room

Listening Room is a truly cool idea. Basically an online record booth where you can listen to music together with your friends. Think chat room, but for audio tracks. Anyone in the room can add a track to be played and everyone can hear it. It’s a wild idea and done beautifully (albeit minimally). Clearly a work in progress as it does have a slight tendency to shut off mid-track. But still absolutely worth a bookmark!  Listening Room is a…

Painting Cell Phone Jammer – art and technology in perfect harmony

This Painting Cell Phone Jammer may look like an innocent copy of a famous master, but in reality it’s a demon signal blocker in disguise. Hang the thing on your wall and plug it in and you’ll instantly stop anyone using their mobile phone within a 40 metre radius. How sneaky is that? The frame comes with a couple of default paintings, but you can use anything you’ve got lying around, even those summer vacation pics of Aunt Emelda, to…
