Of course, that’s not the only time that silly pranks are warranted. They say that laughter is the best medicine, so I’m always on the lookout for ways to give people their daily dose. One fun gadget that can help you get a laugh or two is this Prank…

The free version won’t offer high resolution 350dpi output, but if you’re happy with 180dpi, you’ll be fine. Definitely worth a look if you need quick and dirty design and layout.  SpringPublisher is a professional and easy…

Xploderz Water Pellet Gun

Ive always wanted to play paintball, but was a little bit too afraid of being left with welts and discolored skin from the paint. Squirt guns were always the better route, but it just got old after a little while. Finding the Xploderz guns that look very similar to the Nerf product line was a very pleasant surprise. These guns fire a special type of non-toxic ammo that is a super absorbent polymer which is made up of acrylic acid,…

WhenToTweet lets you know when your Twitter followers are most active

Despite being the most connected person I know (and spending a majority of my time on the internet) I actually don’t care much for social networking. Twitter is one service that still baffles me to this day. I get that there are some uses for it, but for the average person, I just don’t think that there is much of a point. Needless to day, despite my thoughts on the matter, millions of people use it, and many want to…

Make a phone-line powered flashlight for when the power goes out

Whenever the power goes out, I tend to reach for my phone to use as a temporary flashlight. I then begin the hunt for real flashlights and candles. Unfortunately, I rarely remember to purchase candles and batteries when I’m at the store, so I usually have to ride out the storm with almost no light. Wouldn’t it be great if you had a light that would work, even if the power was off, and didn’t require batteries? Believe it or…

Make your PC case more cable-friendly with this DIY tip

If you’ve ever assembled your own PC, you’ve no doubt discovered just how many cables there are on the inside. I’m the type of person that will spend a half hour routing wires so that the end result is as clean and free of clutter as possible. It helps when the case I’m working with has holes for cable management. Unfortunately not all cases have these, and if you don’t have the budget for a new chassis, you’re stuck with…
