Ever since word got out that 3D printing might actually save people money and pay for itself in a decent amount of time, there’s been renewed public interest in what is still something of a geek pastime. Unless you’re familiar with the world of makerbots, extrusion materials and the rest, you’re unlikely to consider adding a 3D printer to your shopping list alongside a new toaster, but this may soon start to change.

Stick ‘Em Magnet Towels – I have waited all my life for these to exist

What is the worst thing about using a towel in the kitchen? It inevitably ends up on the floor! You can hang it over a cabinet door, the handle to the oven, or just leave it on the counter, but it will migrate to the dirtiest place it can find…the ground. When you’re cooking and need to repeatedly dry off your hands on something clean, this will obviously make things harder.

It’s funny how you can have a ton of different lights in your workspace, but they’re never in a convenient place while you’re toiling away. This is probably why we’re so in love with having a myriad of sources for illumination around. Even with all those big, little, and medium sized lights, wouldn’t it be nice if one was always right where you need it when you’re working on something?

Cycling is great fun and excellent exercise too, but one of the the problems is it can be difficult to grab your phone calls while traveling, especially if you have to keep your concentration on the road. It’s also not that safe to listen to music or phone calls with earbuds or headphones while biking (or even running) especially in areas where there’s lots of traffic. Which means we usually have to make a choice between entertainment, safety or boredom.

Forget about all those nancy fitness apps, they’re just toys designed for wannabes. What you really need if you want to get fit and stay healthy is a real live personal trainer. Someone who cajoles, insults and goads you to improve, even on those days when it’s the last thing you need. But the problem is they’re expensive and not always available at the times you want, which makes them a bit of a luxury for most people.

We want to listen to music every hour of every day. The only problem with that is your boss, teacher, and significant other aren’t exactly ok with that. They want to make sure you’re not getting distracted from jamming out too hard.

Whatever topic you talk about likely has a certain connotation that comes with it. Discussing a bombing is not a laughable matter. No one is ever prepared for a situation like that, and trying to sort out what to do right after it happens can be daunting. Talking about underwear on the other hand, is normally met with chuckles. What would you do if a brasserie was the only thing that could keep you safe?
