Impress Coffee Brewer Travel Mug – fresh Joe, on the go

DeskHop – share your screen with a friend on Facebook anytime

There are many reasons why you might need to share your computer screen with someone else, and they don’t all involve photos of furry kittens. For one thing, it’s a great way to fix problems, without having to visit someone’s home or office. For another, it can be really helpful if you’re trying to work on something with a remote colleague and time is getting short.

Flower Power – gives power to your flower

Have you ever had a plant die on you? It’s the worst feeling ever. I once tried my hand at planting (or is it called gardening?) but that didn’t work out at all well. It may sound easy but it’s not. we definitely need someone to monitor our plants  all the time and tell us if our plant needs more water, sunlight, etc

BioDigital PC – waterproof, credit card sized computer runs full Windows or Linux, laughs at the Raspberry Pi

The leprechauns have been at it again. Not content with building teeny tiny mobile phones, minuscule cameras and ridiculously small airplanes, they’ve now gone and shrunken a PC down to the size of a credit card. Complete with 2GB of RAM, a 128 GB SSD drive and Intel processor capable of running Windows 7 or Ubuntu Linux. And if that’s not enough it’s totally waterproof and fireproof via a custom epoxy coating.

ZenoRadio – new service provides streaming radio broadcasts via a phone call, no need for expensive smartphones and data

Mega music streaming services like Spotify and Pandora may be all the rage nowadays, but their services are targeted strictly at those with cool smartphones and data plans. However there are still millions of people out there who use plain old regular cell phones, without data or other fancy features, so it’s good to hear about innovative mobile streaming techs which are trying to cater to those living on the other side of the digital divide.

YouTube Center – free browser plugin gives you YouTube the way YOU want it [Freeware]

We all love YouTube, silly little girl that it is. But I don’t know about you, there are times when I wish it would be a little more obedient and let me set things up just the way I like. It’s boring having to reset image quality, size and layout each time I access a video on there. And I would also love it if it buffered properly like it used to.

Virtual Keyboard – new generation Bluetooth gadget lets you type on any flat surface

The hunt for the golden keyboard continues apace, particularly for those who can’t handle lugging around large portable QWERTY units. Fair enough, they do put a crease in the suit pocket. We’ve seen laser keyboards before of course, but it looks as though there’s a new generation out on the streets, with better legibility and which may actually work as advertised.
