7 Inch Dual Core Dual SIM 3G Android Tablet at $120 makes your phone look rather expensive, doesn’t it?

We must admit to getting a bit confused now, what with all these phablets offering 6.x inch screens, and full phone functionality. At what point does a phone become a tablet, and can a tablet ever be called a phone? These questions are probably too vast in scope for one mere mortal to answer, so instead we’re going to point you towards a simple demonstration of a genre.

This 7 Inch Dual Core Dual SIM 3G Android Tablet offers nothing truly remarkable, save for the fact that it comes in at a price which places it smack in line to compete with the largest of the modern super phones. It comes with a 1GHz dual core processor, 512MB RAM, 2 SIM slots which will cope with 3G and GSM etc. It also sports WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G tethering, a 2 megapixel camera and a 2800mAh battery.

You can slot up to 32GB of storage into the device via the microSD slot, and there’s 4GB inside anyway to cope with internal storage needs. You’ll be missing some full phone features like GPS and some of the more exotic sensors, but it is running Android 4.1 which is pretty good for this price point. Oh yes, the price? It’s $119.99 / £73.70. Yeah, interesting.
