The Restart Project – free help to repair your electronics instead of throwing them away, good citizen style

We’re wasting too much stuff, aren’t we? How many times have you thrown away a perfectly good flashlight or other household device, knowing full well that it could be repaired, but it ‘wasn’t worth it’? Yeah, it sucks, especially if you’re keen not to add any more landfill to the already obscene amount out there.

Airlines are expanding their recycling efforts, perhaps to create a “greener” perception for consumers to admire. There’s no question that the electric car momentum has now well and truly started gathering pace, with the latest entrant to the market coming from the German giant with two letters as a logo. The Volkswagen e-up! (don’t forget the exclamation mark, Mark!) is nowhere near as revolutionary as the one we were expecting, but it’s still pretty cool, and actually breaks new ground in at least one specific piece of tech.

Connoisseurs of fine fabrics will know that wool has a special place in the world. It’s warmth, softness and natural feel make it the choice of most high class tailors and fashionistas.
