This long but interesting ieee Spectrum article takes an in-depth – and very scientific – look at the mystery surrounding the drive to make our LED lamps more efficient. Green Speed air-powered motorcycle – air powered speed machine

While it’s only a prototype at the moment the Green Speed air-powered motorcycle sure looks the part. Designed by Edwin Yi Yuan and RMIT University, the bike is powered by compressed air stored in a pair of carbon-fibre air tanks.
