So You Think Robots Are Cute, Eh? Think again! [Video]

This here headless monster is called Hubo, and he just won $2,000.000 for his team by beating out another 22 other robots in the DARPA robotics challenge 2015. How? Well by being incredibly scary, that’s how. For one thing he/she/it arrived driving its own car. And then it did stuff. Lots of stuff, really clever stuff. All by itself. VW Robot Car Charger – robot valet refuels your car while you shop [Video]

In the future we may well drop our car off at the entrance to the shopping mall car park, and leave it to drive itself to a refueling point and then automatically park up to wait for our return. Sounds incredible? Not if German motor group VW has its way. But you will need an electric vehicle to take advantage of this kind of ‘shop & charge’ valet service.

Kibble Control – stop one cat bullying the others at feeding time

Anyone who has more than one cat will recognize the problems with ensuring that one feline doesn’t bully the others when it comes to feeding time.
