Nanobubbles – cute name for a powerful anti-pollution innovation

Non-biological pollutants are a huge problem for our planet’s waterways but sometimes these manmade pollutants cause a rise in harmful bacteria and viruses that further make a natural space uninhabitable. Which is to say, there may not be much in the way of trash that are is killing a waterway, the issue could be smaller than our human eyes can see. One scientist used nanotechnology to clean up and recover an entire wetland, saving it from utter destruction.

MycoTechnology – don’t add sugar, block bitter instead

Too much sugar is a bad thing but everyone is pretty well in agreement that sugar makes food taste better. Which is why it’s such a bummer to have to cut it out. We try to make do with artificial sweeteners but there’s no substitute for the real thing. MycoTechnology realized that and took a different approach. Instead of trying to copy sweet, they decided to block bitter.

We have been using drones and the like to learn more about the world we live in by letting us capture aerial views of places that we would otherwise miss out on and this is great!
