Nissan wants to take it even further by utilizing the batteries to charge and power more than just cars. They will begin testing LEAF electric vehicles to give power back to homes and offices with the Nissan Energy Share.

Acorn Project – if you can’t stop emissions, at least keep them out of the atmosphere

The biggest key to stopping climate change is limiting the amount of harmful gases that enter the atmosphere. This, however, will take time as changes are made to what energies we use, how we produce things, etc. In the meantime, the Acorn Project wants to keep the gases from getting into the air and, good news, it’s looking to start testing it’s technology by the mid-2020s.

Climate change is a big deal but we have a hard time visualizing it. When we think of climate change most of probably think of polar bears and industrial smoke stacks but it turns out those images don’t really connect well and turn into action. Climate Visuals is a library of images that capture climate change in a way that we can understand and prompt people to engage.
