The Plate-Oh plate – the reusable paper plate
As convenient at paper plates are, they aren’t the most eco-friendly choice. Once used, they can’t be recycled and wind up dumped in landfills. Designer Sahar Madanat Haddad has come up with a better idea. The Plate-Oh is a biodegradable plate made of 10 pressed-together paper layers. Use the plate and, when done, simply peel back the top layer and toss it. Now you have a “new” plate to use. That gives it a lot of advantages. First, it means…

There are those crucial moments when you actually need your phone to work, and it dies. Of course, it’s when you’ve just finished locking yourself out of the car, missed the last bus, or need to ask for directions. Backup batteries are almost a necessity nowadays, but with so many out there, which ones will prove their worth? So long as it does its job, nothing else should matter, right?
Read MoreBook Light and Holder Set – On your mark, get set, READ!
Some people read blogs, others read books. We looked at one such tool recently, but it will only take care of one issue.
Read MoreLawson Blue Ridge Camping Hammock is what a tent should be
Camping is about experiencing the outdoors, and going back to nature, even if it’s only for a day or two. However, nature likes to put bugs in your tent, and gets raccoons to raid your stuff. Tents on the ground will do their job, but a hammock is better.

Our lives are definitely too stressful. For example over the course of a morning I will typically drink 12 cups of coffee, tend to demanding child, and get screamed at by my boss. Some people might call this *stress*, but I just call it *my life* which is why I want to *retire* and live on an *island* all by *myself* (and maybe with a soccer ball named Hank).

It has been a great many years since hoisting a boombox on your shoulder was a new “thing”. While the way we play our music has changed over the years, there are still some hilariously large options out there. No one wants to jam out to tunes by themselves on headphones alone, right? If you’re going to turn it up, you may as well have a huge stereo to pump it out.

You and your pooch are headed out for a lovely stroll. Well, you want to stroll, but your dog wants to run at a breakneck speed, which ultimately ends up with them trying to choke themselves. No one wants their pup to try and overextend themselves, which is why they need training. Sound is the best way to get to canines, as they have super-sensitive hearing.

There was a time when games were much less (and sub-sequentially more) complicated. Tutorials didn’t take six or more hours, quick-time events didn’t exist, and it was all about skills. While there are still games out there that require some level of proficiency, you really can’t beat the classics. While they don’t really sell the consoles of old anymore, it doesn’t mean you can’t still play games from that time in gaming history.

Back in the day we all assumed that the robot revolution would mean big hulking monsters clanking around in the garden, but in reality they’re turning out to be small, cute devices which do clever stuff.

Smartphone cameras are probably one of the wonders of the age. These high resolution video and still cameras have transformed the art of photography, and apps like Instagram have spawned a whole new ecosystem of sharing. But there are other uses for these cameras, some good and some not so valuable which have also come with the territory.
Read MoreCouch Arm Wrap – Why didn’t I think of that?
There comes a point in every couch lounger’s day, when you need to reach for your drink or the remote, but it is far too distant from your current comfy spot. You think to yourself, “If only I had a table on the couch.” Well think no more, for the idea has become reality.
Read MoreBatman Batpack – because a utility belt is too obvious
The world is always looking for a new super hero, but there are very few people who would want to prance about in a spandex suit. Not to mention you would stick out like a sore thumb to any real criminals. If you want to be like Batman (because let’s face it, none of us have super speed or laser eyes), the best option you have is to keep some really awesome gear handy at all times.
Read MoreThis Dog Walking Aid for Bicycles will keep your furry friend out of harm’s way
It’s a lovely spring day, and you fancy a bicycle ride. Of course, your beloved canine would like some sunshine as well, so you both set off. However, what should be an enjoyable workout becomes a tense session of panic when your pooch tries to run alongside you and the leash keeps looking like it’s going to catch on the wheel or spokes.
