Oh sweet Blackberry, where did it all go wrong? RIM (parent company of Blackberry) announced recently that it is selling the company for the bargain basement price of $4.7 billion (the company once had revenues of over $19 billion in a single year). Garmin HUD gives your car GPS some cool cockpit style

Everyone wants to be cool, right? Like Top Gun cool. Sync Charge Multi Tool – Swiss Knife charging block gets you out of trouble

It’s a sad sign of the times when you notice just how much time we spend trying to keep all our devices charged up and ready to go. In fact it’s actually quite embarrassing, and sometimes feels like I’m actually doing a full time job running around grabbing cables, adapters, power leads and the rest. Frogglez – the swimming goggles your kid deserves

Swimming is one of the best exercises for your whole body, and not only that, it’s also fun. Most kids love swimming, and any kind of water based activities just grab their attention. However, children can get really frustrated with regular swim goggles because without a comfortable strap you can’t have good fitting goggles, and without good fitting goggles you get water into your eyes, which is nasty.

DO NOT BUY the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 because it is region locked just like a DVD [Updated]

In one of the most incredibly stupid moves of any manufacturer in recent years, it appears that Samsung has integrated region locking on their new line of Galaxy Note 3 mobile phones. Yes that’s right, they have locked the handset so if you travel outside of your region (i.e. USA, Europe, Asia etc) you will NOT be able to use a local SIM card to make cheaper calls and save on roaming. [Update: Gigaom reports on a follow up from…

Fujifilm Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic Instant Camera – retro style lets you instantly re-live those memories as they happen

What is it about the sight of a bit of chrome and black leatherette that makes camera equipment so exotic and appealing? Is it our ingrained memories of the early days of photography, when trudging around the world clutching these frail things called personal cameras was all the rage? Snapping photos of famous landmarks was so much fun back then.
