When I first saw this I thought, YES! At last a real competitor for the iPod. Until I looked closer and saw that the Neuros MP3 Digital Audio Computer features sluggish old USB 1.1 transfer technology. Aaargh! Don’t these folks realise that for 20GB storage devices you need SPEED to upload your tracks?

Anyhoo, apart from that, the specs look to be really quite awesome –

* HiSi feature which lets you audition a song on the in-built FM radio and then download the track details next time you synch with your PC
* MyFi feature which lets you broadcast music from the device to any nearby FM tuner Hi-Fi system
* Auto Synch with PC
