How the hell do they amplify sunlight, or do they mean “amplify the effects” of sunlight. If so, how the hell do they “amplify the effect” of sunlight.
Or do they just get hot in the sun and thus heat up the water? If so, shouldn’t they be black instead of all colourful and stuff?

they simply allow sunlight to pass thru the clear rings allowing it to transmit its heat to the pools water while also reducing the loss of energy (heat) by reducing the evaporation of water off the surface which is where you lose about 90 % of the heat. but truthfully a good solar bubble type cover will work better since it effectively covers the entire surface area and can raise the pools temperature by 10 degrees or more
Neat concept, but HS is a pricey bunch.
I’ll bet Wallmart or some lower-end retailer could crank these out for 1/4 the price.
I’d be right in line if they did….
