You’ve gotta love this SEV Solar Roof Module which fits right onto a stock Toyota Prius roofline to provide 215 watts of energy to keep you driving electric eco style for 20 miles a day. No plugging in required, just a goodly amount of that old sunshine magic. The company has kits for other hybrid vehicles like the RAV 4 and Ford Escape, but the Prius is the one to beat really. The system works with a battery pack and takes around 2 to 3 hours to install. No idea of price, but the company claims a payback of around 2 to 3 years.
