USB VGA to HDMI and DVI Adapter. This dongle kit makes it a cinch to quickly attach a variety of external monitors to your PC or laptop. The kit comes with DVI and HDMI modules and you can add up to six (6!) external monitors and have them run in clone, extended or stretch mode for your pleasure. It handles resolutions up to 1400×1050 (32 bit colour) and is self powered via the USB 2.0 cable. Pretty useful piece of tech if you ask us. $89.99.
The USB 2.0 VGA / HDMI / DVI Adapter enables you to connect any monitor, LDC, Projector to your PC or notebook. You can use it as an extended desktop or as a larger / different display from your main screen. By using USB 2.0 Technology, there is no need to open the computer or struggle with compatibility issues related to a second VGA Card as a traditional internal PCI does.
Hey Red,
You couldn’t hit up these guys for a demo unit could you?
I’d really like to know what kind of performance hit your PC would take when its CPU has to do the number crunching for a second (or sixth) display. I mean, is this kind of thing feasible for a P3 900Mhz machine or do you need a Cray?
Cheers
