LED Binary Code Watch – take your time telling the time

Binarycodewatch

This LED Binary Code Watch looks almost normal if you squint hard and view it sideways. Then you open your eyes and realise with a huge sigh that you’re going to have to spend the next 10 minutes working out what the time was 10 minutes ago. And so on… Ah well. $159.95. [Thanks Matthew]

It’s high time for high style to meet high tech and it happens in binary: HERE + NOW • Unique binary time display with top row of hours and bottom row of minutes • Impress people with your ability to read the time in this oddball, computer-nerd formats • Superior brushed stainless steel finish looks like a zero when viewed in silhouette, and zero is one of the two numbers in the binary counting systems

Nigel is the managing editor of the Red Ferret, as well as a freelance columnist for the Sunday Times newspaper in London. Loves tech and fancies himself as a bit of a futurist, but then don’t we all?

  • Got one – it looks cool but you can only read time fast “fuzzy logic” style after about 2 weeks of use, if you try to read it accurately you spend about 5-10 minutes looking at it!

Also looks like a detonator in a cinema.
