LiveLuggage – world’s first battery powered suitcase

Liveluggage3

LiveLuggage is a new power assisted suitcase which comes with ‘flat motor technology and anti-gravity handles’. Wow! It has force sensors, tilt switches and stress frame tech, sounds a bit like a Segway for flyers doesn’t it? What they don’t tell you is the fact that the weight of all this hyper tech means you can only pack a toothbrush before you go over-weight on your luggage allowance. Jest kidding. Power lasts for 2 hours, which is just about enough to get from the taxi door to check-in desk at Heathrow. That will be $1,365.25 please, madam. [Thanks Dan]

Under average conditions, using a combination of inclines, uneven ground and flat surfaces you should see a minimum of 2 hours battery life from a fully charged unit. The level of charge in the battery and its operating time may vary dependent on the weight of the case and the type of ground that is encountered! (Our tests resulted with an average distance of 1 3/4 miles with a 32 kg load)
