Depending on which way you look at it, this 13 Port USB Hub is either proof of the success of USB computer peripherals in general or evidence that we’re all being drowned in a tidal wave of cheap tacky USB products which deliver no value and merely take up desk space. Your call. As I think I’ve mentioned before, I currently run 18 USB ports off three hubs, and I still ocassionally hunt around for a spare slot. Hilarious eh? Arf! Anyway this puppy is on offer at £19.99 at the moment.
Never be short of a USB for your mouse, flash drive, external hard drive, Wi-Fi adaptor etc · Convert 1 USB port in to 13 · High-speed USB 2.0 – transfer data at up to 480Mbps · Slim design, saves desk space · Backwards compatible with USB 1.1 · ”Plug ”n” play” technology · Supports hot-swapping of all USB devices · Compatible with all operating systems that support USB · Includes power supply to support USB devices that require power
Yeah, but what’s the amperage on the power supply? It should be at least 6.5A. The last time I bought a 7-port hub it came with a 1A power adapter (and was duly returned).
