Talking 14 Language Translator – que?

The Talking 14 Language Translator may not have soft brown hair, green eyes and a lovely lilting accent, but hey, it’s cheaper and doesn’t demand a tip at the end of the vacation. And the fact that it does the talking for you, really does save the world from having to endure your obnoxiously loud and mangled pronunciation of the word for bathroom. Oh and did we mention it’s a currency, measure and time converter too? Well now you know. $199.95 mi armore.

This is the portable device capable of translating 32,200 phrases and 280,000 words into any one of 14 languages. At the touch of a button you can access translations for pre-programmed words or travel phrases in English (uses the New Oxford American English Dictionary), German, French, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Hebrew, Greek, Russian, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Dutch, and Portuguese. The backlit LCD shows the word or phrase, pronunciation, and script for non-Latin alphabets, then speaks the word or phrase in your language of choice.
