Virtual reality day today. Techdirt has a report on a new game called Jawbreak, which appears to be a sort of Majestic type game. If you remember – before it was unceremoniously dumped by EA – Majestic was billed as the world’s first ‘real time’ game in that you played it by searching Web sites, receiving phone calls, emails and faxes and generally freaking out as the game intruded into your real life activities. It failed to excite enough people. Well Jawbreak is a free and seemingly simpler implementation. Worth a look for those who like this kind of puzzle, adventure stuff.
