Sperian Anti-Mine Boots – the ultimate kickwear for dubious parties

Sperianantimineboots

These Sperian Anti-Mine Boots are NOT going to win you any fashionista points down on your local dance floor, but when you’re talking about Kevlar soled, armour plated shoewear that might just save your legs in an explosion, you’re probably not that fussed about the fancy bits, right? Our vote goes to stopping the use of these nasty little beasts (mines not boots) in the first place, but what do we know?

The “V” shape of the sole deflects the force of the explosion, slow down energy and impact, and evacuate the flame The armoured part protects the ankle and the foot from the fragments of the ground…The anti-mine is the first shoe equipped with an outsole made with aramide (Kevlar). • It is also the first injected outsole with such a height (7cm) • The design of the boot is also a real challenge: although the upper is very high (24cm), the sole is totally stable, and protects the foot while guaranteeing the user mobility against landmines.
