Mobile phone on an SD card

According to the good folks over at The Inquirer, Siemens in the UK has been showing off a prototype mobile phone SD card.

The card, which will work in any standard SD card slot, can handle GSM and GPRS and should retail for around 270 euros when it is released later this year. Fascinating way to convert your Palm or PocketPC PDA into a phone methinks. [via gizmodo]
