Eee PC Privacy Filter – stop the snoopers snooping your work

The Eee PC 7 Inch Privacy Filter is a small plastic sheet which you stick on the screen of your ever so trendy ultraportable to ensure no-one can read the important stuff on your screen. Like the Solitaire game cards, or the begging emails from Mrs Miggins. Anyone remember when the marketing blurb for them new fangled TFT screens trumpeted the wide angle of readability? Hah! Around $48.00 in Yen like.

EeePC is small and easy to carry it around with you anywhere you go. Have you ever felt uncomfortable using EeePC around other people? I don’t think many people would enjoy being watched in your screen when you work on some stuff and checking emails and such. We have a great filter for your privacy protection in those situations. You can see the monitor perfectly fine when you are right in front of it, but cannot see anything from the sides.

  • Make a screen where you can regulate the viewing angle dynamically, and then we'll talk.

  • Heh, nice idea.

  • The idea isn't bad, really… if it was $5. Is that price for real?

    • Yeah lot of money for a teeny piece of plastic, eh? :-)

    • I think I'll use the free option: glaring at anyone who looks at my screen.
