Snackr is a slightly different take on RSS feed readers. Most people who use RSS probably a slightly overflowing feed, mine still hasn’t recovered from the holidays. Snackr takes your feed and displays it along your desktop, one item at a time. You can either add feeds individually or import your whole lot via an OPML file exported from your current RSS reader.
Once you have set up your feeds you can move it around to dock anywhere on your desktop and you can set how fast/slow the articles tick along. Looks pretty darn good too.
What’s Snackr? It’s an RSS ticker that pulls random items from your feeds and scrolls them across your desktop. When you see a title that looks interesting, you can click on it to pop up the item in a window.
