Pen based phoning

Wow, Nokia has introduced the Nokia 6108, which is a mobile phone ‘with an innovative and intuitive pen input capability optimised for messaging and designed for Chinese language users in Asia Pacific markets.’

For the Chinese? Right. But it will also handle Latin characters, so I wonder just how long it will be before it hits these Western shores? It also includes an email client and other such messaging goodies. Neat! [via gizmodo]
