Gemory – inscribe a nano-photo on your diamond for posterity

Gemory

For a paltry $1500.00 Gemory will inscribe a nano-photograph of your choice onto a diamond of your choice. Actually they inject the photo under the surface of the gem, it’s invisible to the eye and doesn’t affect the value or quality of the jewel at all. Apparently. Oh and just to add some spice to life, you need to send your photo and…ahem…diamond to the processing lab to get the job done. The nano-photo viewer will set you back $300.00 if you actually want to see how it’s come out. [Via]

Will inscribing a photograph change the value or the purity of my diamond? No. The nano-photograph is safely injected just beneath the surface of your diamond without damaging the surface. The brilliance of your diamond is preserved. It will be sparkling after the inscription exactly like it did when you got it. To prove the quality and the non-evasive nature of our process, we use a third party gemological laboratory (EGL USA) to measure your diamond’s brilliance before and after we inscribe it. A report showing that the brilliance is unchanged is included with each purchase
