MSolar – portable solar solutions

Image

MSolar is a range of portable solar power units. Packaged in a hard case, they contain solar cells, 220 volt inverter and a sealed lead-acid battery. They can put out between 200 and 350 watts peak and claim to be able to charge in 10 hours (sunlight dependant of course). I’m not sure if I complete agree with their idea of portable, the top-of-the-line model weighs 54kg. $US676.40 for the smallest 20W model.

MSolar (Portable Solar Power Solution) can be used for a variety of applications such as emergency services communication power backup, recreational applications, emergency power relief, and lighting system. MSolar comes conveniently packaged in a briefcase with solar panels which include various electronic accessories and batteries.
