SiteShoter is a quirky little freeware program which could be extremely useful in the right circumstances. It’s designed to take regular screen grabs of any website you choose. It can also be set up to take shots of a list of URLs too, and you can set the intervals at seconds, minutes or every so many hours.
Now I’m not sure whether you’re going to be wanting to grab a site image every second (think of the storage, Ma), but maybe someone somewhere has a need for an hourly grab for research, tracking or other purposes. The images can be stored as standard JPG or PNG files, and you can specify that Flash, Javascript or other site elements are ignored or disabled. Clever.
SiteShoter is a small utility that allows you to save a screenshot of any Web page into a file. It automatically creates hidden window of Internet Explorer, loads the desired Web page, and than save the entire content of the Web page into an image file (.png, .jpg, .tiff, .bmp or .gif). You can also use SiteShoter to convert .html file on your local drive into image file.
