The StudioDesk is a common or garden wood and veneer office desk with one subtle difference. All the cable conduits are built in, along with sockets and hideaways, with the result that you have just one single cable to plug in to the wall socket. A great way to manage all the various tangled wires from your gadgets and computing kit. Not particularly cheap though, at $599.95.
All peripherals and excess cables are hidden just under the sliding desktop surface. The storage compartment is therefore conveniently accessed from above. An elongated slot across the width of the desktop allows the necessary peripheral & power cables to enter/exit at any point, thereby keeping the desktop clear of clutter.
Yeah it's pricey cos it's hard to get computer cables to grow inside trees.
Obviously it does happen though.
It's even tougher to get them up through the roots. :)
