This Terk Amplified Television Antenna is apparently one of the most effective of its type on the market. We’ll take that with a pinch of salt until we get to see Barry Manilow live in Supermarionationized colour, but for now let’s just go with the flow and repeat the sales blurb. Multi-directional, low noise filtering, high gain amplifier. Sound reassuring? Good. $89.95.
Tested by the Institute in urban, suburban, and rural environments, it scored highest in tests for providing superior, UHF and VHF reception with minimal ghosting–it received solid, reliable reception from 90% of available stations, compared to the 77% reliability received by the nearest competing model. The antenna employs a low-noise filtering chipset that suppresses any interfering noise, ensuring unambiguous reception. The antenna can be wall mounted, placed flat, or stood vertically–because it multidirectional, it does not need to be adjusted like other antennas that have to be “pointed” in the right direction.
Wouldn't 100% of the channels be a better antenna?
