Internet explorer is notoriously bad for printing web pages. While there are numerous Firefox extensions to deal with the problem there isn’t much out there for IE (especially older versions like IE6). If you’re lucky, the web page you’re viewing has a printable option, but you have no control over what the developer has chosen to include or exclude in that page.
Welcome Printee, a free extension for IE that lets you select regions to include or exclude in your printed output. You can remove all images or backgrounds with a single click. You can even modify font sizes and styles in the output. And of course it comes with multiple levels of undo and redo in case you remove the wrong bit. Free, runs on IE 6,7 and 8, Windows XP and up.
