The misleadingly named Windows “Task Manager” pretty much only lets you “manage” tasks running on your PC by shutting them down one by one. The Auslogics Task Manager will show you not only all processes and applications running, but also all services and even all files that are currently in use, and what’s more you really can manage them – for processes, for example, there are an impressive number of things you can do.
[Click to Enlarge] The developers have added a nice touch by adding descriptions and trustworthiness-rating for each application/process/service reported, and since it can run straight off your USB flash drive you can even go altruistic and troubleshoot internet cafe PCs – if you dare. For some reason though Auslogics Task Manager doesn’t consider it’s own .exe trusted. Take from that what you will.
Auslogics Task Manager is a brand new free Windows Task Manager alternative. It provides comprehensive yet easy to understand information about running applications, processes, and services, as well as disk activity, CPU, RAM and Internet traffic usage.
