Archive Binge – Read old webcomics via RSS

Image

It happens – someone points you to a webcomic and you realise it’s been online for the last 5 years. That’s 5 years’ worth of archives to read … when are you going to fit that into your schedule? Wouldn’t it be grand if you could have the archives delivered to your RSS reader so you can read them more conveniently? Behold Archive Binge.

Archive Binge creates RSS feeds for webcomic archives, which you can set up to arrive on any day/s of the week, and deliver up to 10 strips per instalment to your RSS reader. You can also set which strip to start with, if for example you’ve already seen the first 30 strips, why have those delivered again? At the moment it only supports a few existing webcomics (xkcd, Dinosaur Comics, featuring Talking Guinea Pigs et al) for legal reasons, but you can always ask for your favourite strip to get itself included.

Rather than spend a whole day or more bingeing on a comic archive, set up an Archive Binge feed. You can start from the beginning, or wherever you’re up to. You can set your custom feed to deliver a strip every day, 4 strips every weekday, or whatever you want, up to 10 strips a day.
