Victorinox RescueTool – handier than hip pockets

The Victorinox RescueTool has been around for a couple of years now but we missed it somehow. Designed in collaboration with emergency personnel it’s basically a Victorinox Swiss Army Knife geared towards rescue, first aid and getting people out of damaged cars. On the outside it’s got a luminescent yellow shell, bright nylon case and a lanyard. On the inside there are tools like a blade you can open one-handed, a seatbelt cutter, glass breaker and a disc saw. Sounds like just what you need. US$53.50

The Victorinox RescueTool was developed and perfected in cooperation with emergency medical and rescue services in a five-year project. The key functions of this new pocket tool can be opened in seconds and are ready for use immediately.
