If you have a weed problem and no one else can help, then maybe you should hire, Eco Goats. Eco Goats provide a very environmentally friendly solution to weed and invasive plant species removal. After assessing your situation Eco Goats will deliver a collection of hungry goats, and electric fencing to keep in the right spot. If you have particular parts of your property that you don’t want touched, they’ll fence it off otherwise it’s open season for the goats to munch.

Clearance rates vary, but the time estimates given suggest that 30 goats will do a 1/3 of an acre in 48 hours or 50 goats can clear 3 acres in 12 days. Sure pesticides are quicker, but they can build up in the soil and they’re pretty indiscriminate as to what they kill. The goats will eat most things (including kudzu and poison ivy) but there are a few things that will kill them namely rhododendrons, paw paw and mountain laurel, but the Eco Goat people will do a thorough inspection first.
