Ninite – Awesome customisable application grabber and installer

Ninite is an application packager and installer that makes installing all your favourite applications a piece of cake. Just go to the Ninite website, pick the programs you wish to install and it will create a tiny executable file that will grab the latest and greatest versions of your chosen software.

There’s a wide range of applications you can add including four of The Big Five internet browsers (no IE obviously), IM software, Media Players, Image Editing, Torrenting, Anti Virus, Computer Utilities and Office Software. Click the image below for the full list.

After you’ve grabbed them all, the installation fun begins. It only works with PCs of course and the Ninite people are very happy for you to make suggestions for other applications to add. It’s super useful people, check Ninite out.

Ninite runs on Windows XP/Vista/7 and works in the background 100% hands-free. We install apps with default settings and say “no” to browser toolbars and other junk. All we do is install the latest versions of the apps you choose. Not even Ninite is installed.

  • I myself use magic-downloader for my software downloads as it saves all the installation time, you can use the app double click right away. No spyware , no system trash ,no changing in Windows registry , my computer is running as fast as its new no matter how many apps I downloads with freely . Amazing!
