Thermal Pet Bowl – Keeps pooch hydrated in the cold winter months

Image

Instead of adding anti-freeze to pooch’s water bowl, try the healthier option of a Thermal Pet Bowl. This heated bowl keeps the water from freezing even in subzero Fahrenheit temperatures (that’s very cold). It holds 5.5 litres (1.5 gallons), draws 25 Watts and has a 1.5 metre cord. US$28.51 from Amazon.

Now you can make sure your pet always has access to drinkable water all winter long with a Thermal Bowl. The Thermo Bowl will keep your dog’s (or cat’s) outdoor water bowl free from ice all fall, winter, and spring down to temperatures to 20 degrees below zero Fahrenheit. But, it uses less electricity than a 30-watt light bulb! The electronics are safely sealed inside the bowl, and the cord is steel wrapped to ensure your pet’s safety. It is UL approved in both the US and Canada.

  • Even as a joke, I can't believe you would suggest adding anti freeze to water. Yes most people (should) know that it is toxic and lethal and will KILL your pet. But some people/children who may read your statement don't. They might actually think it's a great idea.

For those who don't know, anti freeze is dangerous to all living creatures including children, dogs, cats. Within hours kidney & liver damage sets in and can kill them- even ingesting small amounts. Be very careful when you fill your antifreeze and it leaks to the ground, try to rinse it away. Because of it's sweet smell unsuspecting creatures find it appealing. Use common sense and store it securely away from little ones & pets.
