The rumors may be true. NASA claims it’s created a one-person eco-friendly plane unlike any other. The Puffin, which is basically a plane that you wear, is designed to stand on its tail which can split into four legs to help serve as landing gear. It can take off vertically like a helicopter, can travel at 225kph (140 mph), dash at more than 480kph (300mph)and all with nary an electric whisper. With no ceiling, it could go up to about 9,150 meters before its energy runs low enough to force it back to earth. Its current flying range is only 50 miles, but NASA plans to triple this by the year 2017.
The plane’s carbon-free cruise comes from electricity, making it the most earth-friendly ride out there. Is this NASA’s newest stealth plane or a fascinating experiment in personal travel? Don’t know if it’s fact or hype but wouldn’t it be a cool ride if it’s true?
A super-quiet, hover-capable aircraft design, NASA’s experimental one-man Puffin could show just how much electric propulsion can transform our ideas of flight. It looks like nothing less than a flying suit or a jet pack with a cockpit.

Oh, my neck. Sorry, the human head's too heavy to maintain that position for very long.
Another Carter Copter…
i understand that une thing with his own mass is rotating around another thing with a bigger mass. Maiby we cand create a spaceship ,that can have his own mass and that he cant change his mass to create a speed that cand move close and forward to that thing,to help moving with any speed we want.
