Handheld EKG Monitor – scare yourself stupid anywhere you go

Handheldekgmonitor

This Handheld EKG Monitor is a pocket friendly version of those beep beep machines that show up in Gray’s Anatomy a lot, usually when the guest star flatlines mid-way to the first ad break. Well now you can play at home too, kids. Just press this puppy into the palm of your hand and the sensors will show you how your heart’s doing. Hint: if the line looks anything like a car workers pay rise chart, get yourself to a doc quick. $199.95.

The monitor uses four integrated sensors–not uncomfortable electrode cables–that provide an instantaneous EKG reading simply by holding the unit in one hand and pressing it against the palm of your other hand. It displays an accurate EKG and heart rate on its 1 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ monochrome screen, along with an easy-to-interpret emoticon that indicates a normal or irregular heartbeat.
