2 Person Hovercraft – slip sliding away…

2personhovercraft

This 2 Person Hovercraft looks like fun. The thing uses a 60HP gas engine and can scoot along at up to 60 mph, which sounds a little scary at just 8 inch above the turf. Six gallon tank, floats on water and can manage a 400 lb payload. $17,000.00. Better start saving Junior.

The two-cycle, two-cylinder air-cooled engine’s powerful 36″ pulley-driven fan keeps the craft aloft on an 8″ cushion of air while propelling it forward at speeds up to 60 miles per hour (top speed is dependent on the route’s surface conditions and operator’s skill). A handlebar-style tiller allows the rider to control the direction and speed as the hovercraft travels over smooth surfaces such as ice, water, sand, mud, snow, and short grass, in addition to short distances over asphalt, concrete, or dirt roads, with 60 separate nylon/hypalon coated skirt segments providing a durable base.
