Cobra 30 Mile 2-Way Radio – who needs a cell phone when you can chat for free?

This Cobra 30 Mile 2–Way Radio set comes with hands-free operation, 142 privacy codes and a 10 channel memory for finding some clear air. We’re not completely sure that 30 miles really means 30 miles – we seem to remember that most 3 kilometre walkie talkies actually struggle to get a signal further out than the length of the driveway – but we’re willing to suspend disbelief for a while. You’ll need to suspend $79.99 if you want to prove their claim.

These GMRS/FRS two way radios come in a value pack with a range of up to 30 miles. Also includes two rechargeable lithium ion battery packs and a two port mini desktop charger. The desktop charger wall adapter can also charge one radio through its speaker/microphone/charge jack. Other features include 10 Channel NOAA All Hazards Radio, VOX hands free operation, a 10 channel memory, 142 privacy codes, and a scan feature. You can save as many as 10 channels in the memory and then scan as many as you would like.
