The SOL Cinema seats 8 adults, runs off two 120W solar panels and teaches kids about sustainable and eco living. Wonder if they play Muesli adverts before the main feature? Cute!
The Sol Cinema, a project funded by the media arts charity Undercurrents, is the world’s smallest solar-powered movie theater. Made from a converted caravan, the theater uses four large lithium-ion batteries that are charged by two 120W solar panels. Movie theater can accommodate 8 adults or 12 children for a unique cinematic experience.
