Chromaroma – turning the boring commute into a fun game

Chromaroma

Those crazy Brits are at it again. This new Chromaroma game turns the boring drudge of a day’s London commute to work into a fun packed game with missions, goals and everything. Instead of just taking the tube train to work, you can capture the stations, collect points and win fayre maidens. OK, so we exaggerate the last part.

The whole thing is based around the smartcard technology embedded in the city’s Oyster ticket card and in the auto bike rental system, which is a super geek initiative all round. Now if only they could combine it with a treasure hunt…? Whatever happens, London will never be the same again.

The city is vast, and there are many ways to play it. From ambient play which enhances the journeys you already take, to more exploratory fare that will take you to places perhaps you didn’t know existed.
