Add a zoom lens to your older iPhone

Would you like to do a bit more with your iPhone’s camera? Specifically, with the older 3G and 3GS models. Being a former owner of both, I can attest to the the fact that they don’t have the greatest cameras in the world. If you want to take a picture from far away, you’re pretty much out of luck. Unless you have the right equipment, that is.

The Eye Scope for iPhone is a combination of case, tripod and lens that adds the ability to zoom up to 8x magnification. The best part is that the kit doesn’t take up a ton of space (unlike the recent Lomo camrea kit we saw). For $47, it could make a nice addition to your phone if you’re really wanting to push its limits on photography.

  • Why, why do 3rd party manufacturers continue to make these zoom lens for the iPhone? Its not as if it has extremely high resolution camera or a fantastic lens… For $47, you can get a great used point and shoot with flash and higher resolution.

What's worse, pocketing an oddly shaped lens case or a slim point-and-shoot…?
