The Crayola Crayon Maker recycles old half-used crayons

Crayons provided an outlet for our childhood imaginations. One of the main problems with using crayons however is that they can be used down to their tiniest stub and are annoying to draw with after that. (Dont lie, you all know its true and still want to draw with crayons) The allure of a brand new crayon always wins out over the five or six thumb-sized stubs of colored wax that you never want to see again. Now that positions have changed, and we must look at life from the aspect of an adult, and it is downright annoying that kids will not touch the old crayons, even though theyre in perfectly good condition.

Crayola already noticed this fun fact and created the Crayon Maker, which melts down all existing crayons and turns them into shiny new ones. Needless to say, this looks to be a miracle product, as its going to save you a bit of change in preventing you from buying whole new packs just to have green and blue.

Its only going to set you back around $20, and you can probably find it for cheaper elsewhere. This would likely be a great gift for kids, and with a little adult supervision to monitor the re-melting of crayons, (since that can be a nightmare to clean if it gets everywhere) this product can be a huge help.

  • How about a way to recycle those little pieces of soap.. put all those pieces and mold it into a usable size?
