Meco Press makes LEGO bricks for adults

If LEGO fans aren’t already salivating over all the new nifty things that have been coming out, here’s something to really keep an eye out for. There may now be the ability to have LEGO bricks that you can build a two-story house with. What’s the big catch? They’re made out of mud.

Meco Concept is the company that is working to make building a bit easier and fun. Advanced materials such as steel and wood are a bit hard to come by these days, so mud is a readily available medium. Not to mention that you could build these shaped mud-bricks in about 80% of the world. It does take a while to form and shape a brick; about thirty minutes to be exact. Although. These are sturdy enough to support a two-story home. The machine part of this process is slowly being pared down as time goes on, but looks a little bit like a cross between a cement mixer and a mailbox. Nifty idea if you ask me.
