Text Area Cache – clever free Firefox addon safeguards your online text form entries

Have you ever laboriously filled out an online form or email message only to have the browser or site crash on you so you lose the lot? Frustrating huh? Well Textarea Cache should help. This freeware Firefox addon automatically captures text you enter into a form or online text box, so it can be instantly reused in the event of a problem.

The nice feature about the software is the fact that it captures each set of text input as separate entries, which means you can refer back to past entries on demand, until you clear the record or the program’s cache. Nice little tool which should save time and effort.

This extension will save automatically the content in textarea or WYSIWYG editor when user is typing. User can recover the saved texts in the cache window, even the tab or the window is closed unexpectedly. The user will see an icon in status bar when the text is saved in the cache. Click the icon will open the cache window.
