Though our current generation is technology-based, there is still an older generation that knows nothing about computers at all. If you didnt grow up with computers, it can be a little hard to just jump in. To them, a computer can seem to be a daunting challenge to learn, and if they’ve lived without it for so long, why get into it now?
Kiwi PC has launched a line of Linux Desktop PCs for the elderly loved ones in your life. This may be a bit patronizing for all the grandparents out there that know how the internet works, but its a good start for those out there that dont know where to begin and have a hard time with normal computers. This Kiwi PC features large icons that make them easier to see, and a customizable me menu that gives users access to their most viewed websites and programs directly from the desktop. It is an investment at $499.99, but if it can help your grandparents get more connected to their family, it could be worth it.
it would have been even better if it had windows then linux.
Linux is a bit difficult to use in my opinion
