Hasbro’s My3D Viewer turns your iPhone into a ViewMaster

When you were a kid, did you ever have one of those ViewMasters? They were little devices that allowed you to view images in 3D. Usually they came with the pictures loaded onto small paper discs, and with the pull of a lever, a new one would appear. These days, such technology seems trivial and outdated. However, if you’re feeling nostalgic, Hasbro has created a device that will allow you to produce the same effect with your iPhone.

The MY3D Viewer looks similar to a pair of binoculars, and attaches to your iPhone. Then, using the right app, you can see 3D images on your phone. They’ve even left thumb holes so you can still interact with the screen to play games, and move images. For $35, it’s not a bad way to relive a part of your childhood.
